Flood disrupts operations at Kothari Petrochemicals’ factory in Chennai

Kothari Petrochemicals’ operations at its factory located at Manali Industrial Area, Manali, Chennai, Tamil Nadu have been disrupted due to flooding of the factory premises caused by incessant rains. The factory has been shut down after mid night of December 2, 2015.

Due to heavy water logging and continuous rain the damage could not be ascertained as of now. The factory is adequately covered by insurance. Necessary steps are being taken to restore normalcy.

Kothari Petrochemicals is an India-based company, which is engaged in the manufacturing of Poly Iso Butene and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The Company's products include KVIS 10, KVIS 30, KVIS 100 and KVIS 200.
