MEP Infrastructure gets rights to collect user fee through Fee Collecting Agency

MEP Infrastructure Developers (MEP) has been awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) the rights for Collection of user fee through Fee Collecting Agency on the basis of competitive bidding through (e-tender) for Brijghat toll plaza at km 88.500 for the section Hapur - Garmuketeswar Section (km 58.000 to km 93.000) on NH-24 in the State of Uttar Pradesh. MEP has received the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) on December 10, 2015 from NHAI.

The operations will commence within 12 days from date of this LOA after complying the statutory formalities viz. submission of performance security, signing of contract and the period of the contract is 1 year. The contractual amount for the said project is around Rs 51.84 crore payable to NHAI on a weekly basis over a period of 1 year.

MEP Infrastructure Developers is engaged in tolling operations of the road infrastructure sector, with a pan-India presence. MEP Infra is in the business of pure toll collection projects as well as OMT projects, which involve maintenance obligations in addition to toll collection on operational roads (including highways) constructed by third parties.
