CARE reaffirms ratings of Bannari Amman Spinning Mills’ bank facilities

Credit rating agency, CARE has reaffirmed ‘A-’ rating to Bannari Amman Spinning Mills’ long term bank facilities worth Rs 245.74 crore and ‘A2+’ rating to the company’s Short term Bank Facilities worth Rs 77 crore. The rating agency has also reaffirmed ‘A-/ A2+’ rating to the company’s Long/Short term Bank Facilities worth Rs 345 crore.

The ratings assigned to the bank facilities of Bannari Amman Spinning Mills (BASML) continue to factor in its established track record with competitive position of the company in the cotton spinning industry, experience of the promoters & management in this line of business and partly integrated nature of operations with increasing share of value-added products sold.

Bannari Amman Spinning Mills, established in 1995 has a capacity of more than 140,000 spindles. The mill has a complete range of state of the art spinning equipment including Lakshmi Rieter Spinning machinery from Blow room to Spinning departments, Schlafhorst-338 model autoconers for yarn production.
