In a bid to enhance its business, Insecticides (India) is focusing on R&D and discovery of new products (molecules). The company has also entered the export market this year. The company had a 7 percent share in the insecticides market in the country, estimated at Rs 15,000 crore. The company had two plants in Jammu & Kashmir and one apiece in Rajasthan and Gujarat, besides four R&D centres.
Insecticides (India) is a leading agro-chemical and pesticides manufacturer. The company has formulation facilities in Chopanki in Rajasthan, Samba and Udhampur in Jammu & Kashmir and Dahej in Gujarat. It also has plants at Chopanki and Dahej to manufacture technical grade chemicals.
