Compucom Software surges on getting project worth Rs 46.71 crore

Compucom Software is currently trading at Rs. 12.74, up by 0.29 points or 2.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 12.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 12.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 13.10 and Rs. 12.00 respectively. So far 74603 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 22.25 on 19-May-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 11.05 on 30-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 13.10 and Rs. 12.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 94.95 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.92% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.01% and 36.07% respectively.

Compucom Software has been awarded an ICT project by Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation (BSEIDC), a government of Bihar Undertaking, for a contract value of Rs 46.71 crore. The project bagged is for providing computer education on BOOT basis in 336 government schools of Bihar. With this order, the company now has 6,418 government schools under its umbrella across North India.
