Dena Bank rises on tying up with CNX Corporation

Dena Bank is currently trading at Rs. 41.30, up by 0.30 points or 0.73% from its previous closing of Rs. 41.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 41.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 41.45 and Rs. 41.15 respectively. So far 12149 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 64.45 on 02-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 38.50 on 23-Sep-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 41.75 and Rs. 40.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2668.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.85% and 15.15% respectively.

Dena Bank has tied up with CNX Corporation for availing Collateral Management services for financing farmers/ traders/ processors against pledge of warehouse receipts (WHR).

The bank reported 24.85% fall in its net profit at Rs 38.76 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 51.58 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The bank’s total income decreased by 0.46% to Rs 2872.08 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 2885.22 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
