A detailed exploration and design study will be undertaken to finalise implementation.

The Tata Power-SN Power consortium is also working on developing the 880 MW Tamakoshi 3 Project in Nepal for which they have an exploratory licence. Tata Power has over 3,000 MW through hydro, thermal, solar and wind energy with an additional 5,500 MW in construction.  It currently has 447 MW of operational hydro power in Maharashtra, which feeds power to Mumbai and about 114 MW from Dagachhu Hydro Project under construction in Bhutan in joint venture with Druk Green Power Company, Bhutan.crackcrack
