L&T’s JV bags order worth Rs 3,115 crore from BSRDCL

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) construction arm -- L&T Constructions’ Heavy Civil Infrastructure Business, along with its joint venture (JV) partner, Daewoo E&C of South Korea, has won a major order worth Rs 3,115 crore from the Bihar State Road Development Corporation (BSRDCL). This is for the design and construction of green field six-lane extra-dosed cable bridge over river Ganga near Kachchi Dargah in the district of Patna on NH-30, near Bidupur in the District of Vaishali on NH-103, (Bihar).

The prestigious EPC contract order involves the construction of a 22 km road alignment including a 9.76 km long extra-dosed bridge spanning the mighty Ganga. The project also includes viaducts, ROBs, major bridges and road works. After completion, this will be the country’s longest extra-dosed bridge. The project is scheduled to be completed in four years.
