Vijaya Bank gains on raising Rs 450 crore through Private Placement

Vijaya Bank is currently trading at Rs 31.00, up by 0.45 points or 1.47% from its previous closing of Rs 30.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 30.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 32.00 and Rs. 30.70 respectively. So far 4328 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 51.50 on 23-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 28.70 on 18-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 30.80 and Rs. 28.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2646.09 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.06% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.70% and 15.24% respectively.

Vijaya Bank has raised Rs 450 crore of Tier II Bonds at a coupon rate of 8.64% per annum on January 22, 2016. The bank had earlier decided to raise Basel III Compliant Tier-II Bonds amounting to Rs 500 crore by way of Private Placement.

Vijaya Bank offers various products and services specific to various segments such as it has saving accounts for children, scheme for women clientele, credit facilities to minority communities like Zoroastrians, Buddhists are among others.
