Ess Dee Aluminium jumps as its arm plans to start additional manufacturing unit

Ess Dee Aluminium is currently trading at Rs. 174.50, up by 4.10 points or 2.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 170.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 172.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 194.90 and Rs. 170.80 respectively. So far 56651 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 493.10 on 25-Apr-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 117.00 on 20-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 194.90 and Rs. 141.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 556.67 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.50% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.40% and 14.10% respectively.

Ess Dee Aluminium’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Flex Art Foil -- will be starting an additional manufacturing unit at Daman to carry out the activities of printing aluminium foils based packaging products.

Recently, Flex Art Foil had commenced the operations at its new manufacturing unit at Bangalore to carry out the activities of printing aluminium foils based packaging products.

Ess Dee Aluminium is a packaging solutions company. The company is a provider of aluminum foil-based flexible packaging laminates, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and poly-vinylidene dichloride (PVdC) coated PVC-based thermoforming solutions.
