Federal Bank surges on entering into partnership with National Australia Bank

Federal Bank is currently trading at Rs 47.80, up by 1.00 points or 2.14% from its previous closing of Rs 46.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 47.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs 47.90 and Rs 46.90 respectively. So far 107853 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 79.73 on 03-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 45.65 on 29-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 48.10 and Rs 45.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 8181.27 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.16% and 60.84% respectively.

Federal Bank has entered into partnership with National Australia Bank to provide its NRI customers in Australia inward remittance facility at a discounted rate.  To avail this facility, customers need to register their National Australia Bank account details with Federal Bank and the cost is around one-third of the normal international fund transfer charges.

Federal Bank is a major Indian commercial bank in the private sector headquartered at Aluva, Kerala having more than thousand branches and ATMs spread across different States in India.
