IL&FS Transportation Networks has received Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the 4 laning of Pune - Solapur section of NH-9 from Km 144.400 to km 249.000 in the state of Maharashtra on DBFOT Basis developed by the company’s subsidiary. The Independent Engineer appointed by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has certified February 03, 2016 as the COD.
The project is on toll basis with a concession period of 19 years and 295 days comprising of Tolling and Operations & Management period of 18 years. The Project was issued Provisional Completion Certificate on August 23, 2013 and was entitled to collect only 80% of the toll. Since the company has now completed the development of the entire stretch of the Project, it will be entitled to collect toll at the full rate.
IL&FS Transportation Networks has been involved in the development, operation and maintenance of national and state highways, roads (including urban roads), flyovers and bridges in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Jharkhand and Rajasthan.
