SJVN has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2015.
The company has reported 21.80% fall in its net profit at Rs 211.60 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 270.60 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has decreased by 10.91% to Rs 572.78 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 642.94 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
SJVN is a joint venture between the Central government and Himachal Pradesh state government. The company owns and operates India’s largest 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station in Himachal Pradesh.
