Polaris Consulting & Services dips on reporting 7% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

Polaris Consulting & Services is currently trading at Rs 212.10, down by 0.95 points or 0.45% from its previous closing of Rs 213.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 213.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 214.00 and Rs. 210.30 respectively. So far 52292 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 224.00 on 11-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 132.70 on 10-Feb-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 215.00 and Rs. 210.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2133.06 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 28.92% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.40% and 49.57% respectively.

Polaris Consulting & Services has reported 5.68% fall in its net profit at Rs 23.89 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 25.33 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the company’s total income has increased by 9.22% to Rs 468.80 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 429.23 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.  

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 6.90% fall in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates of Rs 36.54 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 39.25 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 7.65% at Rs 520.72 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 483.72 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014.
