SRF gains on reporting 41% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

SRF is currently trading at Rs 1169.55, up by 12.90 points or 1.12% from its previous closing of Rs 1156.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1150.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1177.50 and Rs. 1130.00 respectively. So far 9109 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1495.55 on 05-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 875.85 on 27-Mar-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1170.00 and Rs 1075.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6627.76 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.38% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.64% and 18.98% respectively.

SRF has reported 14.47% rise in its net profit at Rs 83.13 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 72.62 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the company’s total income decreased by 1.80% to Rs 870.44 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 886.40 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.  

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 41.01% rise in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates of Rs 100.68 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 71.40 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has decreased by 1% at Rs 1106.57 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1117.79 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014
