Gujarat State Petronet (GSPL) has received fair trade regulator Competition Commission of India’s (CCI) approval to raise stake in Sabarmati Gas (SGL) by 13.71% to 27.47% for an undisclosed amount.
Along with Gujarat State Petronet (GSPL), Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) have also received CCI's green signal to acquire stakes in Sabarmati Gas.
Sabarmati Gas retails CNG to automobiles and piped cooking gas to households in Gandhinagar, Mehsana and Sabarkantha in northern Gujarat.
