F&O total turnover stood at Rs 3,72,223.52 crore on February 17

Futures & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at 3,72,223.52 crore on February 17 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 73,83,682.                     

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 21,085.15 crore, Stock Futures Rs 27,526.08 crore and Index Options Rs 3,05,600.57 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 18,011.71 crore.        

For the day, the total F&O PutCall ratio stood 0.79 while Index Options PutCall ratio was 0.80 and that of Stock Options was 0.61.     

The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Godrej Consumer Products (3.00), Eicher Motors (1.73), Oil India (1.50), Indian Overseas Bank (1.41) and Bank of Baroda (1.30).

Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed a contraction of 1.28 million of Open Interest in the January month futures contract, followed by Reliance Industries witnessing a contraction of 0.80 million of Open Interest in the January month contract; ICICI Bank witnessed a contraction of 4.08 million of Open Interest in the January month contract, Bank of Baroda witnessed an addition of 4.06 million of Open Interest in the January month contract and Tata Steel witnessed a contraction of 0.82 million units of Open Interest in the January month's future contract.
