Asian Paints trades in green on BSE

Asian Paints is currently trading at Rs 876.20, up by 7.25 points or 0.83% from its previous closing of Rs 868.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 870.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 877.50 and Rs. 865.05 respectively. So far 77168 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 924.65 on 05-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 693.00 on 16-Jun-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 872.20 and Rs. 827.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 84054.50 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.79% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.05% and 20.16% respectively.

Asian Paints’ operations at its Plant situated at Rohtak in Haryana state, have been shut down with effect from February 19, 2016, due to agitation at IMT, Rohtak. The company will make necessary disclosures on any material development, if any, in this regard.

The company along with its subsidiaries has operations in 20 countries across the world, servicing consumers in 65 countries through Berger International, SCIB Paints-Egypt, Asian Paints, Apco Coatings and Taubmans.
