United Bank of India has informed that the Indian Banks Association vide its letter dated February 18, 2016 has informed that All India Bank Officers Confederation (AIBOC) has given a Strike Notice dated February 11, 2016 stating that the members affiliated to their Association will observe one day strike on February 29, 2016 on various issues and demands. The Bank will take all the necessary steps in terms of the existing guidelines for smooth functioning of branches/offices on the day of the strike, in the event the strike materializes.
