Kansai Nerolac Paints’ Japanese promoter Kansai Paint Co has increased its stake in the company by 2.02% for Rs 287 crore in the open market. Kansai Paint Co, which had 69.27% stake earlier, has hiked its shareholding in the company to 71.29%.
Kansai Nerolac Paints is amongst the leading paint companies in India. The company’s manufacturing facilities are located at Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Haryana.
