L&T spurts on bagging Rs 800 crore contract from DLF

Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs 1117.05, up by 6.35 points or 0.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 1110.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1113.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1119.80 and Rs. 1102.00 respectively. So far 35383 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1892.95 on 04-Mar-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1016.60 on 12-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1168.00 and Rs. 1082.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 104139.33 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 56.01% and 43.99% respectively.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) secured order worth RS 800 crore from DLF to build its office complex in Gurgaon. The 12-acre project would be developed at a cost of Rs 1,100 crore and has a total leaseable area of 2 million sq ft.

The construction of this office project has started and is expected to be completed by March 2018. The project is being designed by Hafeez Contractor and managed by Hill International.
