Gammon India trades with traction on the bourses

Gammon India is currently trading at Rs. 13.95, up by 0.45 points or 3.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 13.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 13.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 14.10 and Rs. 13.55 respectively. So far 10013 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 24.90 on 16-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 10.75 on 10-Sep-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 14.30 and Rs. 13.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 395.39 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 16.61% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 58.77% and 24.63% respectively.

Gammon India has transferred 75% of its shareholding in Transrail Lighting (TLL) to Bilav Software on February 26, 2016. Pursuant to this transfer, Transrail Lighting ceases to be a subsidiary of Gammon India.

Gammon India provides engineering services and construction of services. It operates in plan, design and undertakes construction of roads, highways, bridges and other projects.
