NHPC has declared commercial operation of Unit No 1 of Teesta Low Dam HE Project with effective from March 03, 2016. The company has declared commercial operation pursuant to successful trial run of Unit No 1 of Teesta Low Dam HE Project, Stage-IV (4 X 40 MW) at is installed capacity of 40 MW for continuous 12 hours on February 29, 2016.
