MEP Infrastructure Developers has received the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The company has been engaged as the contractor for user fee collection at Athur Toll Plaza at km 103.500 on Tambaram to Tindivanam Section from km 74.500 to km 121.000 of NH-45 in the State of Tamil Nadu.
The operations will commence from March 26, 2016 after complying the statutory formalities viz. submission of performance security, signing of contract and the period of the contract is 1 year. The contractual amount for the said project is around Rs 72.36 crore payable to NHAI on a weekly basis over a period of 1 year.
MEP Infrastructure Developers is engaged in tolling operations of the road infrastructure sector, with a pan-India presence. MEP Infra is in the business of pure toll collection projects as well as OMT projects, which involve maintenance obligations in addition to toll collection on operational roads (including highways) constructed by third parties.
