Adani Power expects to increase its capacity to 5,500 MW from present 3,300 MW by March next year. By March the company will have close to 5,500 MW and it has a plan to have 10,000 MW by March 2013. Earlier, the power producer had maintained that it expects to have operational capacity of about 6,000 MW this fiscal, out of the planned 16,500 MW capacity under development. Indonesian coal reference price and a domestic fuel shortage hurting linkage plans are some major issues for the company as well as for the industry.
