Tata Motors partners with Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay

Tata Motors and IIT Bombay have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to create a technological partnership in areas of mutual benefit and interest. Series of interventions have been identified to cater to a future-ready organization. Under this MoU, joint R&D projects will also be undertaken for development of new technologies in various engineering domains.

This partnership will involve Tata Motors leveraging the top academic talent in the country. It will help the company to not only build its functional expertise through research collaboration but also contribute to strengthening the industry readiness of the talent stepping out of campuses through curricula building, live projects and various engagement interventions. Tata Motors has clearly charted its technology roadmap. The Company has identified areas of excellence and to meet these requirements, it plans to create talent pool and be the destination of choice for automotive engineering professionals.

Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company. Through subsidiaries and associate companies, Tata Motors has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, South Africa and Indonesia. Among them is Jaguar Land Rover, the business comprising the two iconic British brands.
