MEP Infrastructure Developers has been awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) the rights for Collection of user fee through Fee Collection Agency on the basis of competitive bidding through e-tender basis only for Pundag Toll Plaza at Km 98.930 on Hazaribagh-Ranchi Section from Km 40.500 to Km 114.000 of NH-33 in the State of Jharkhand. MEP has received the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) on March 15, 2016 from NHAI. The contractual amount for the said Project is Rs 56.61 crore payable to NHAI on a weekly basis over a period of 1 year. The operations will commence within 12 days from the date of this LOA after complying the statutory formalities viz. submission of performance security and signing of contract.
MEP Infrastructure Developers is engaged in tolling operations of the road infrastructure sector, with a pan-India presence. MEP Infra is in the business of pure toll collection projects as well as OMT projects, which involve maintenance obligations in addition to toll collection on operational roads (including highways) constructed by third parties.
