KEC International bags Rs 340 crore order for transmission lines construction

KEC International (KEC) has won a Rs 340 crore order for construction of transmission lines in the states of Gujarat and Maharashtra. The order is secured from Bhopal Dhule Transmission Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sterlite Technologies. The project consists of 765kV single circuit transmission lines from Aurangabad to Dhule and Dhule to Vadodara and 400 kV double circuit transmission line. These lines are part of build-own-operate-maintain (BOOM) project awarded by Power Finance Corporation to Sterlite Technologies for transmission system strengthening in states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
