Jet Airways flies high on commencing non-stop services to Amsterdam

Jet Airways (India) is currently trading at Rs. 559.15, up by 5.75 points or 1.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 553.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 556.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 564.50 and Rs. 550.45 respectively. So far 169049 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 796.00 on 13-Jan-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 248.50 on 16-Jun-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 564.50 and Rs. 515.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6330.78 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.95% and 11.05% respectively.

Jet Airways has started daily non-stop services from the Delhi, Mumbai and Toronto to Amsterdam, the airline's new European hub.

The carrier has shifted its European gateway from Brussels as scheduled. Days before shifting out, the airport at the Belgian capital saw bomb attacks on March 22 that killed over 10 people and injured many, including two Jet Airways staffers.

The flights to Amsterdam departed from Mumbai and Delhi with a full complement of Premiere and Economy guests on board its Airbus 330-300 aircraft.
