Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at 3,70,641.30 crore on March 28 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 68,34,721.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 21,723.60 crore, Stock Futures Rs 47,217.92 crore and Index Options Rs 2,83,697.30 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 18,002.48 crore.
For the day, the total F&O PutCall ratio stood 0.92 while Index Options PutCall ratio was 0.94 and that of Stock Options was 0.60.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Indian Overseas Bank (3.23), United Breweries (2.50), Mcleod Russel India (2.36), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise (1.93) and Ultratech Cement (1.75).
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed a contraction of 7.20 million of Open Interest in the March month futures contract, followed by Reliance Industries witnessing a contraction of 2.67 million of Open Interest in the March month contract; Tata Steel witnessed a contraction of 4.36 million of Open Interest in the March month contract, Infosys witnessed a contraction of 0.67 million of Open Interest in the March month contract and Axis Bank witnessed a contraction of 4.81 million units of Open Interest in the March month's future contract.
