Bank of India trades in fine fettle on BSE

Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 95.00, up by 1.40 points or 1.50 % from its previous closing of Rs. 93.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 95.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 95.95 and Rs. 94.05 respectively. So far 227381 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 232.95 on 15-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 80.10 on 17-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 99.50 and Rs. 93.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7696.94 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.13 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.72 % and 9.15 % respectively.

The Government of India has conveyed its approval to infuse capital funds to the tune of Rs 1150 crore in Bank of India by way of preferential allotment of equity shares in favour of Government of India.

The bank has reported a net loss of Rs 1505.58 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to net profit of Rs 173.38 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The bank’s total income has decreased by 7.20% to Rs 11086.95 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 11947.45 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
