Kansai Nerolac Paints rises on concluding sale of Chennai land for Rs 537.86 crore

Kansai Nerolac Paints is currently trading at Rs. 294.05, up by 13.40 points or 4.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 280.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 285.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 291.20 and Rs. 285.20 respectively. So far 4,151 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 299.35 on 11-Jan-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 196.10 on 27-Apr-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 294.05 and Rs. 271.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15,752.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.27% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.05% and 14.68% respectively.

Kansai Nerolac Paints has completed the sale of its Chennai land measuring 15.86 acres for a consideration of Rs 537.86 crore. The company has sold the land together with the buildings on it to Perungudi Real Estate, a special purpose vehicle formed by Brigade Enterprises and Reco-Caspia, a GIC Singapore affiliate company.
