MEP Infrastructure Developers (MEP) in joint venture with Sanjose India Infrastructure & Construction has received Letter of Award ('LOA') dated March 31, 2016 from NHAI (‘National Highways Authority of India’) for four lane stand alone ring road/ bypasses for the Nagpur city package II from km 34+500 to km 62+035 (Total Length - 28+035 km) in the state of Maharashtra on BOT (hybrid annuity) basis.
The construction period for the said project is 30 months from the appointment date and concession period is 15 years (excluding construction period of 30 month). The bid project cost is Rs 639 crore and O&M bid is Rs 6.75 crore for the first time. The company will receive bi-annual annuity from NHAI post commercial operation date (COD).
MEP Infrastructure Developers is engaged in tolling operations of the road infrastructure sector, with a pan-India presence. MEP Infra is in the business of pure toll collection projects as well as OMT projects, which involve maintenance obligations in addition to toll collection on operational roads (including highways) constructed by third parties.
