MEP Infrastructure Developers receives LoA from MORTH

MEP Infrastructure Developers (MEP) in joint venture(JV) with Sanjose India Infrastructure & Construction has received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) dated March 31, 2016 from MORTH (Ministry of Road Transport & Highways) for rehabilitation and up-gradation of NH-66 (Erstwhile NH-17) from km. 241/300 to km 281/300 [Arawali - Kante section] to four Lane with paved shoulder in the State of Maharashtra under NHDP IV on Hybrid Annuity Mode.

The construction period for the said project is 2 years from the appointment date and concession period is 15 years (excluding construction period of 2 years). The bid project cost is Rs 592.98 crore and O&M bid is Rs 5.67 crore for the first time. The company will receive bi-annual annuity from MORTH post commercial operation date (COD).

Further, MEP - Sanjose India Infrastructure & Construction JV, Hybrid Annuity order book stands at Rs 1,762.98 crore to be executed over the next 3 years (from the Appointed Date).

MEP Infrastructure Developers is engaged in tolling operations of the road infrastructure sector, with a pan-India presence. MEP Infra is in the business of pure toll collection projects as well as OMT projects, which involve maintenance obligations in addition to toll collection on operational roads (including highways) constructed by third parties.
