NTPC has reportedly supplied 100 MW of un-requisitioned surplus from its Dadri Stage-1 plant to Gujarat Urja Vitran Nigam (GUVNL). The power was supplied on Sunday evening and Monday morning as per the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission tariffs.
The Power has been supplied based on the request received from GUVNL to meet the power demand of the state of Gujarat which is facing power shortage due to multiple outage of their generating units.
NTPC is engaged in generating power. Its services include consultancy, power management institute and research and development center. It offers services in engineering, project and construction management, operation and maintenance of power generating plants and consultancy services to power utility sectors.
