Future Retail has informed that the Company has entered into an amendment agreement on April 15, 2016 to modify certain terms and conditions in Joint Venture Agreement executed for the Future Generali India Life Insurance Company (FGI Life) to give effect to ‘Guidelines on Indian owned and controlled’ dated October 19, 2015 issued by Insurance Regulatory Development Authority (IRDA). This amendment agreement has been taken note of in the Board Meeting of FGI Non-Life held on April 16, 2016 and accordingly, the disclosure is being made now, on next working day.
