CRISIL reports 40% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

CRISIL has reported results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2016.

The company has posted a rise of 43.92% in its net profit at Rs 65.64 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 45.61 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 17.57% at Rs 267.23 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 227.30 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

On consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 39.56% in its net profit at Rs 78.60 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 56.32 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY15. Total income of the company rose 18.62% at Rs 368.57 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 310.72 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
