RPP Infra Projects surges on entering into consortium agreement with Siemens

RPP Infra Projects is currently trading at Rs 155.10, up by 2.90 points or 1.91% from its previous closing of Rs. 152.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 153.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 162.20 and Rs. 148.60 respectively. So far 111044 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B ' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 165.80 on 05-May-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 84.90 on 07-Sep-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 156.40 and Rs. 141.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 348.05 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.42% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.39% and 25.19% respectively.

RPP Infra Projects has entered into a consortium agreement with Siemens, India for submitting a joint bid to Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) in respect of design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 400 KV, 230 KV and 132 KV substations on turnkey basis and also to entirely and completely execute and perform the contract concluded between PGCB and consortium and also to comply with all the relative provisions as set out in the bidding documents of the project. The said consortium would operate under the name of consortium of ‘Siemens and RPP Infra Projects, India’. Siemens will be the partner in charge of the consortium.

RPP Infra Projects is engaged in business of infrastructure development such as highway, roads, bridges, civil construction works/ irrigation & water supply projects & power plants.
