GVK Power & Infrastructure's step down subsidiary -- GVK Industries (GVKIL) has handed over its Phase I power plant to AP Discoms for a final terminal value of Rs 261.27 crore. AP Transco had exercised their option to ‘Buy Out’ 217 MW (phase I) power plant of GVK Industries (GVKIL), situated at Jegurupadu Village, Kadiam Mandal, Rajahmundry, East Godavari District, Andhra pradesh in terms of the provisions specified under the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) that was expired on 20th June 2015.
GVK Power and Infrastructure is an infrastructure development company. It engages in infrastructure and urban infrastructure projects. The Company provides operation and maintenance services, manpower and consultancy services, and incidental services to owners of power plants, airports and infrastructure companies.
