Syndicate Bank has informed that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (h) of sub-section (3-A) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) of Clause 3 of the Nationalized Banks (Management & Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, the Central Government vide its notification dated April 25, 2016, has nominated the G. Ramesh and Vandana Kumari Jena as Directors on the Board of Directors of the Bank for a period of 3 years from the date of Notification of their appointment (April 25, 2016) or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
