Century Textiles & Industries has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.
The company has posted a fall of 22.44% in its net profit after tax at Rs 9.16 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 11.81 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has decreased by 2.38% at Rs 2059.28 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2109.54 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has posted a net loss of Rs 54.52 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 15.49 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of company has increased by 5.62 % at Rs 8034.44 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 7607.04 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
