Adani Power advances on raising Rs 330 crore on private placement basis

Adani Power is currently trading at Rs. 30.35, up by 0.25 points or 0.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 30.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 30.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 30.60 and Rs. 30.20 respectively. So far 49,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 42.45 on 19-May-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 19.65 on 25-Aug-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 31.60 and Rs. 29.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10,135.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.13% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.71% and 8.16% respectively.

Adani Power has raised Rs 330 crore by allotments of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis. The company raised funds on May 10, 2016, by allotment of 3,300 rated, listed, redeemable, zero coupon, NCDs of the face value of Rs 10,00,000 each on a private placement basis. The said NCDs will be listed on the wholesale debt market of BSE.

Adani Power is engaged in the business of generation, accumulation, distribution and supply of power and to generally deal in electricity and to explore, develop, generate, accumulate, supply and distribute or to deal in other forms of energy from any source whatsoever.
