Apollo Tyres reports 20% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Apollo Tyres has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.

The company has posted a rise of 15.46% in its net profit at Rs 210.62 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 182.42 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has decreased by 3.35% at Rs 2176.52 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2252.06 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

On consolidated basis, the company has posted a fall of 20.27% in its net profit at Rs 245.16 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 307.48 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY15. Total income of the company decreased by 4.61% at Rs 3009.36 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 3154.82 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has posted a rise of 32.15% in its net profit at Rs 852.48 crore as compared to Rs 645.08 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of company decreased 2.77% at Rs 8755.28 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 9004.87 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015. 

For the year ended March 31, 2016, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 11.81% in its net profit at Rs 1093.01 crore as compared to Rs 977.60 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of company decreased by 7.82% at Rs 11863.06 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 12869.22 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
