BS Transcomm rises on commencing commercial production

BS Transcomm is currently trading at Rs. 190.15, up by 0.45 points or 0.24% from its previous closing of Rs. 189.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 185.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 194.00 and Rs. 185.50 respectively. So far 5817 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 210.00 on 15-Mar-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 78.00 on 19-Aug-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 194.00 and Rs. 179.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 417.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.51% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.01% and 35.48% respectively. 

BS Transcomm has commenced the commercial production from March 24, 2012 of its Phase II-expansion in Tower Manufacturing & Galvanizing capacity from 120000 MTPA to 240000 MTPA (i.e., increase in installed capacity of 120000 MTPA).

Recently, the company had secured a supply, erection, testing and commissioning of new 11kv and LT lines and 16/25KVA distribution substation in addition to it being L1 in tender from MPMKVVCL, Bhopal under the RGGVY project in Rewa, Bhind and Panna District in Madhya Pradesh.

BS TransComm is engaged in the business of manufacturing and supply of towers to the telecommunication and the power sector in India with a pan India presence in 19 out of the 23 telecom circles. It is having eight circle offices throughout India through which it is providing service to the customers in 19 telecom circles.
