Indraprastha Gas has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.
The company has posted a rise of 12.27% in its net profit at Rs 107.64 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 95.88 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has decreased by 3.40% at Rs 892.18 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 923.62 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has posted a fall of 4.92% in its net profit at Rs 416.2 crore as compared to Rs 437.73 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of company has marginally increased at Rs 3715.68 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3715.53 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted rise of 3.57% in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 464.13 crore as compared to Rs 448.13 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of company has decreased marginally by 0.05% at Rs 3709.96 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3711.78 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
