Dena Bank tumbles on reporting net loss of Rs 326.38 crore in Q4

Dena Bank is currently trading at Rs. 29.50, down by 1.20 points or 3.91% from its previous closing of Rs. 30.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 30.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 30.60 and Rs. 29.30 respectively. So far 60,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 53.65 on 15-May-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 25.60 on 26-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 32.00 and Rs. 28.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,967.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.89% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.09% and 15.03% respectively.

The bank has reported a net loss of Rs 326.38 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to a net profit of Rs 55.82 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Its total income declined by 1.87% to Rs 2853.35 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 2907.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

For the year ended March 31, 2016, the bank has reported a net loss of Rs 935.32 crore as compared to a net profit of Rs 265.48 crore for the previous year ended March 31, 2015. Its total income has decreased by 1.06% to Rs 11362.53 crore for the year from Rs 11484.82 crore for the year ended March 31, 2015.
