Karur Vysya Bank has inaugurated its 447th branch located at Attur Main Road, Salem in Tamil Nadu on March 26, 2012.

The bank is also in process of opening its 448th and 449th branch at Dakshineswar in Kolkatta and Bally Gram Panchayat, Howrah in West Bengal respectively. Further, the bank will open its 450th and 451th branch at Avinashi and Vellore located at Tamil Nadu. The bank will inaugurate these branches on March 28, 2012.

Karur Vysya Bank is among 6 old generation private sector banks that have been identified by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to implement Speed Clearing at Mumbai.
