SpiceJet is reportedly planning to place orders for new aircraft in the next 2-3 months. The deliveries, if the company order, can only be in 2018. So, the airline will dry lease aircraft to meet demand. The airline is planning to order over 100 aircraft.
The airline reported a net profit of Rs 73 crore for the fourth quarter of 2015-16. For the full year, SpiceJet reported a net profit of Rs 407 crore against a loss of Rs. 687 crore in the previous fiscal.
