City Union Bank reports 13% rise in Q4 net profit

City Union Bank has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.

The bank has posted a rise of 13.28% in its net profit at Rs 112.23 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 99.08 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank has increased by 8.80% at Rs 863.52 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 793.64 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

For the year ended March 31, 2016, the bank has posted a jump of 12.57% in its net profit at Rs 444.69 crore as compared to Rs 395.02 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of bank increased by 8.10% at Rs 3354.19 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3102.96 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
