Hindustan Copper has received the Industry Leadership Award - Base Metals at the 2016 Platts Global Metals Awards, held in London on May 19, 2016.

The award ceremony was hosted by S&P Global Platts, a leading global energy, metals and commodities information provider. The annual awards program honours exemplary performance in fifteen categories spanning the entire steel, metals and mining fraternity.

Hindustan Copper’s principal activities include mining of copper ore, concentration of copper ore into copper concentrate through a beneficiation process and also smelting, refining and extruding of the copper concentrate into refined copper in downstream saleable products.
